We're honored to share our latest release from the Prep Line: the Grief Kit. 🦋
We designed this Kit and its accompanying resources to support children walking through the painful experience of losing a loved one.
Grief in childhood can feel especially overwhelming and confusing. 💔
The Grief Kit provides a multi-sensory way for kids to safely explore and process the complicated emotions that come with loss.
The play dough and symbolic pieces become tools for storytelling in this kit. Each Kit includes a resource guide and prompts written by a therapist and a teacher for activities and prompts you can try out to guide your family through this time of transition.
Some prompts allow children to recreate times with their loved one, externalize feelings too complex for words, and start healing through creativity and metaphor. 💗
