A recent study titled, “Parental playfulness as a mediator of the association between parents’ emotional difficulties and children’s psychosocial adjustment” was published in August 2023 in the journal of Early Child Development and Care.

👉It found that playful parenting is directly correlated with many benefits in children including:

✨fewer negative behaviors,

✨a decrease in anxiety and depression,

✨and more kind behaviors.

The researchers found the connection between parental playfulness and children’s emotional development to be critically important.
