After a whirlwind of a holiday weekend full of family time, so much food, and festive shopping events…it’s really important to us to acknowledge and slow down this Giving Tuesday. 🤍
As a teacher and a therapist, we are painfully aware of the hardships that the holidays can often bring so many children and families.
For each purchase made today, we will ✨match it✨with a product donation to a child in our community experiencing homelessness.
We will be donating kits that act as tools and resources to local schools for counselors, social workers, and teachers to give to families in need.
Our sensory kits do provide lots of fun and regulating playtime, yes! AND they also have been created with so much intention and care with the included mini resource booklet aimed at supporting kids through some of the toughest feelings we all experience. Just a few examples…
🐞🕷️Our Bugs Kit: Supports children experiencing anxiety, uncertainty, and extra worries.
🌊🐬Our Ocean Kit: Helps kids process big waves of emotions and normalize the rise and fall of being human.
🌲🪵Our Woodland Kit: Teaches kids mindful grounding skills and therapeutic benefits of being outside in nature.
💥🦕Our Dino Kit: Comforts kids feeling angry and allows them space to practice coping skills through play.
🌈🦄Our Unicorn Kit: Reminds kids that they are worthy and loved no matter what.
