When we refuse to validate creativity in our kids, it gives them the message that maybe creativity isn't welcome or okay. But when we celebrate and encourage their creativity, they'll feel comforted in their ability to explore it.
Also, remember that creativity is NOT just art. It's also pretend play, exploration, telling stories, using toys in new ways. Putting creativity in a box (for you and your kids) is incredibly limiting, and it hinders allllll that creativity can bring!
