Let's talk sensory play!!
1. What is it? Sensory play is anything that engages the senses (taste, smell, sight, touch, and sound). Additionally, it includes lesser known senses such as balance, movement, internal body system awareness, and where we are in space✨
2. Why is it important? It can build vocabulary, it builds fine motor skills, it can help calm & refocus, it encourages problem solving, it builds nerve connections, AND it encourages imaginative play🙌🏼
